Zesty Garlic Crab Cakes Traditional

12 oz. lump crab meat

1 egg

2tsp. lemon juice

3Tbsp. mayonnaise

2 Tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped

3 green onions chopped

1/2 cup bread crumbs (I used Panko)

salt and pepper to taste

1/4 cup oil for frying

Directions:

Add all ingredients (except the oil for frying) to a bowl and gently fold it until well mixed together. Form the crab mixture into patties. Depending on how big you want the cakes, I got ten from my mixture.

In a skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Place the patties in the skillet, a few at a time. I did five at a time and cooked until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side. Repeat with remaining patties. Serve with your favorite dish.
