Plant Based Bean Burgers


2-3 Cups cooked beans

2 Tbsp ground flaxseed

2 Tbsp water

1/2 cup steel cut oatmeal

1/2 cup chopped onion

1 heaping Tbsp Bittersweet Herb Farm Southwest Picante Seasoning (you can change it up by using any of Bittersweet Herb Farm Seasonings)

1 tsp Tamari (or salt to taste)

 1 Tbsp olive oil for your pan


In a small bowl add ground flaxseed and water together and let set.

In a food processor add beans, oatmeal, onion, tamari (or salt), Bittersweet Herb Farm Southwest Picante Seasoning and flaxseed and water mixture.  Pulse a few times making sure everything is mixed together good.  Put mixture into bowl.  Shape into patties and cook them in a pan with the olive oil.  Brown on both sides.  Your burgers are now ready!
