Plant Based Mushroom Broccoli Alfredo


Cooked pasta of your choice

 2 Tbsp Olive Oil

1 medium onion coarsely chopped 

2 cups broccoli florets

1/2 cup water

1/2 cup plant based butter

1 vegetable bouillon cube

1 Tbsp arrowroot

3 heaping Tbsp nutritional yeast

1 Tbsp Bittersweet Herb Farm Zesty Garlic Seasoning

1 cup mushrooms

1 Tbsp tamari (or salt to taste)


In a large skillet add 2 Tbsp olive oil and saute mushrooms for about 2 minutes. Remove mushrooms reserving any juice in pan.  Add onion and broccoli to pan along with leftover juice.  Cook down adding water until desired tenderness. When almost done add in your sauteed mushrooms. 

In a separate pan over medium heat add butter and bouillon cube and melt.  When melted add arrowroot and stir.  At this time add nutritional yeast and  Bittersweet Herb Farm Zesty Garlic Seasoning.  This will be your Alfredo Sauce.

Mix your sauce and vegetables together.  Now add your pasta.  You are ready to serve and ENJOY!
