Falafel Salad

Ingredients: Falafel

1 Can chickpeas

1 small onion chopped

chopped parsley

1 tsp lemon juice

1 heaping Tbsp Bittersweet Herb Farm Southwest Picante Seasoning

1 tsp baking powder

1/4 cup Arrowroot flour (or your choice of flour)

1 tsp salt

4 Tbsp Olive Oil


In a food processor add chickpeas, onion, parsley,lemon juice, 1 Tbsp Olive oil, Bittersweet Herb Farm Southwest Picante Seasoning and baking powder.  Blend until still very coarse.  Add flour and blend again keeping it chunky. Heat remaining Olive oil in a large skillet and add your mixture in large spoonfuls at a time making patties.  Fry until golden brown on both sides.

Ingredients: For Sauce

1 Heaping Tbsp Tahini

1/4 Cup Bittersweet Herb Farm Chipotle Peanut Finishing Sauce


Mix Tahini and Bittersweet Herb Farm Chipotle Peanut Finishing Sauce

Ingredients: For Salad

Salad greens of your choice

Sliced cucumber

Avocado sliced

2 Tbsp Bittersweet Herb Farm Balsamic Vinegar with Raspberry and Fig


Place greens in a bowl and toss with  Bittersweet Herb Farm Balsamic Vinegar with Raspberry and Fig.  

Plate your salad:

Place greens on plate topped with cucumber, Avocado, and Falafel.  Drizzle Sauce over the top.  Enjoy!
