Creamy Hummus Take 2


1/4 Cup tahini

1/4 cup peanut butter

1 heaping Tbsp Bittersweet Herb Farm New England Barbecue Seasoning

2 Tbsp Lemon juice

2 Tbsp water 

1 can chickpeas (drained, reserving juice)

1/4 cup aqua fava (juice from chickpeas)

1 Tbsp  Bittersweet Herb Farm Lemon Pepper Oil

1 tsp salt

1/4 cup extra water to add as needed for consistency


Put lemon juice and 2 Tbsp of water in a small bowl and add Bittersweet Herb Farm New England Barbecue Seasoning, mix well and set aside.

In a food processor, add peanut butter and tahini. Blend well. Add your mixture of lemon juice, water and Bittersweet Herb Farm New England Barbecue Seasoning,1/2 the can of chickpeas,Bittersweet Herb Farm Lemon Pepper Oil  and 4 Tbsp Aqua fava (juice from chickpeas).  Blend together really well.  Add the remaining chickpeas and salt.  Blend until desired creaminess adding extra water as needed.

Serve with any cut up veggies, chips or have on your favorite sandwich as a dressing.
